lynwood high school
LOCATION: Lynwood, CA - STATUS : In Construction - COMPANY: Bernards
The reconstruction of Lynwood High School is well underway, and Van Diest Bros. has completed the majority of its wet-utility scope.
With a formal groundbreaking in 2024, the Lynwood High School reconstruction includes a comprehensive rebuild of the main classroom building, upgraded campus utilities, and significant improvements to athletic fields, infrastructure, and student facilities — creating a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment for the Lynwood community.
Van Diest Bros. was contracted by Murray Construction Services Inc. to deliver a full wet-utilities package (storm drain, sewer, domestic water, and fire water) for the project. Bernards and Huckabee are leading the project as general contractor and construction manager, respectively.
Van Diest Bros. provided BIM coordination services during preconstruction and installed nearly 1800' of sewer pipe, 1500' of fire service pipe, 3000' feet of storm drain, 17 manholes and 24 catch basins.
Van Diest Bros. is proud to play a role in the reconstruction of a community cornerstone, supporting the delivery of modern infrastructure that will benefit students, staff, and the broader Lynwood community for years to come.
